Painting Number 13 of 2025!

Sometimes a painting is purely just for practice, or for fun, either way. I was trying to practice the clouds and bushes in this one. There was a painting I did earlier this year that had clouds like this one, kind of vertical rows. Its a different style of clouds than I normally do and I liked the effect. Sometimes the background color makes all the difference. As far as bushes go I feel like i could practice a million of them. Lately I've been trying to focus on keeping them separate and individually noticeable, also working on form, shape, and shadows. This painting actually just went to a coworker of mine as a gift who is moving to Arizona. Moving from Colorado I thought they could take a piece of the mountains with them so they'll always have a nice mountain view no matter where they go.
