Painting Number 16 of 2025! 

I really enjoyed painting this snowy cabin scene, its been a long time since I've painted a winter painting as well as painting a cabin. It's also rare that by the time the painting is done it looks like a night time scenery. Sometimes it will look like night about halfway through or before highlights are applied. I also loved making the clouds on this one, the black canvas always makes the whites pop out with such great contrast. I look forward to practicing more cabins and paintings like this in 2026!

This is technically the last painting I completed this year. Although I did start another painting before new years, I didn't complete it before the new year started.
