Painting Number 9 of 2025!

This is the first black canvas painting I've done this year. The black canvases are very different during the process but the results are always stunning. I was unable to get the reflections to be the color I intended but it still came out great. I definitely want to try this one again. I love how the red orange and yellows pop on this one. Especially the orange trees that contrast against the dark background. Most important, this painting inspired my nephew to want to try painting for the first time. We'll take a look at that painting in a future blog post.
